- To confirm an event, the deposit is the full facility-rental amount plus 25% of estimated catering; final payment is due five days before the event.
Full museum: up to 3,500
The current museum continues to accept private-event inquiries but announces that it will close in 2027 as the new Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin is prepared to open.
MPM uses an exclusive in-house caterer; outside caterers are not permitted.
Commercial photography/filming requires 30 days' notice, a signed contract and fee to confirm, and organization liability documentation; cancellations within 30 days receive no refund. These are commercial-shoot rules, not general wedding-rental cancellation terms.
