When you send us a request
Only “Ask us to check a venue” and “Report a problem” send a form. The page link can include a public venue page, city, request type, and where you opened the form. It does not include your guest count, budget, or day. Copy buttons stay on your device. An email link sends nothing until you send the draft.
Saved venue comparisons and venue names carried into the cost calculator stay in browser storage. They do not enter analytics or a form.
If venue search has no result, the search text can appear once on the form as a browser-only reminder. It does not enter the page link, analytics, or the submitted request.
A venue request can include:
- A public venue link and city or area.
- Your question, guest count, budget, and date details.
- Where you opened the form.
- Your reply email.
A correction can include the VowMath page, disputed claim, public source, note, page origin, and reply email. You can leave optional fields blank.
The form sends details to the project database or a private web service. If neither works, the form tells you that it could not save the request. Application logs keep send status and basic details, but not the full email address, report text, market, venue path, or exact plan numbers.
How long we keep form details
What to know: The VowMath project operator must delete form messages no later than 90 days after the last reply. Each database record gets a 90-day expiry date, but expiry does not delete it. Cleanup is manual. VowMath has not checked retention on the private web service, and no independent audit verifies deletion.
To ask for earlier deletion, email VowMath with “Deletion request” in the subject. The policy requires completion within 30 days.
Optional analytics
Analytics is on for this site. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” VowMath drops actions before consent. It does not replay them later.
Analytics page paths leave out query strings. Product events do not include exact guest counts, budgets, dates, venue links, report text, or email addresses.
Events can include the button or link used, its place on the page, request type, whether you changed a scenario, result count, and send status. Ad storage, personal ads, and Google signals stay off. Your choice stays in your browser until you clear site data.
Published venue pages
Venue pages summarize facts from linked official sources. A person checks the sources before publication. VowMath does not republish venue photos, reviews, brochure layouts, or full price files.
Keep private files out of requests
VowMath has no file upload, account system, or payment flow. Please use public information only. Do not paste private proposals, contracts, IDs, signatures, payment details, or other sensitive details into a request.
