When you send us a request
Only “Ask us to check a venue” and “Report a problem” send a form. The page link can include a public venue page, city, request type, and where you opened the form. It does not include your guest count, budget, or day. Copy buttons stay on your device. An email link sends nothing until you send the draft.
Saved venue comparisons and venue names carried into the venue cost calculator stay in browser storage. They do not enter analytics or a form.
Venue filters are part of the page address. A shared link includes the selected city or area, guest count, and search text. These values can appear in browser history and page requests. They do not enter analytics.
The venue cost calculator processes amounts and notes in your browser. Save on this device stores a copy until you delete it or clear site data. Save again after making changes. Anyone using that browser can open it. Backup files are opened on your device, not uploaded to VowMath. Downloaded spreadsheets, backups, and printed reports contain your entries. Copy tool link shares only the public calculator URL.
If venue search has no result, the search text can appear once on the form as a browser-only reminder. It does not enter the page link, analytics, or the submitted request.
A venue request can include:
- A public venue link and city or area.
- Your question, guest count, budget, and date details.
- Where you opened the form.
- Your reply email.
A correction can include the VowMath page, disputed claim, public source, note, page origin, and reply email. You can leave optional fields blank.
The form sends details to the project database or a private web service. If neither works, the form tells you that it could not save the request. Application logs keep send status and basic details, but not the full email address, report text, market, venue path, or exact plan numbers.
How long we keep form details
What to know: The VowMath project operator must delete form messages no later than 90 days after the last reply. Each database record gets a 90-day expiry date, but expiry does not delete it. Cleanup is manual. VowMath has not checked retention on the private web service, and no independent audit verifies deletion.
To ask for earlier deletion, email VowMath with “Deletion request” in the subject. The policy requires completion within 30 days.
Analytics
Cookieless counts are on. VowMath uses PostHog to count page views, calculator use and results, shared links, sent requests, and clicks to venue websites. PostHog runs in cookieless mode. It sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser storage. PostHog does not keep IP addresses, and there are no session recordings. It also reports page errors so we can fix them. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, PostHog sends nothing.
These counts use page types, not full page addresses. They do not include anything you type, your plan numbers, or your email address.
Google Analytics is optional. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” VowMath drops actions before consent. It does not replay them later.
Analytics page paths leave out query strings. Product events do not include exact guest counts, budgets, dates, venue links, report text, or email addresses.
Events can include the button or link used, its place on the page, request type, whether you changed a scenario, result count, and send status. Ad storage, personal ads, and Google signals stay off. Your choice stays in your browser until you clear site data.
Google Maps reviews
Some venue pages link to Google Maps. VowMath does not load a Google review widget or save Google review text. When you follow a review link, Google handles your visit under the Google Privacy Policy.
Published venue pages
Venue pages summarize facts from linked official sources. Our AI research agent checks each venue’s official sources before publication. VowMath does not copy venue photos, Google review text, brochure layouts, or full price files into its venue directory.
Keep private files out of requests
VowMath has no server file upload, account system, or payment flow. The venue cost calculator can open its own backup files locally. Please use public information only. Do not paste private proposals, contracts, IDs, signatures, payment details, or other sensitive details into a request.
